Treating Smaller Leg Veins – Meet The Candela Vbeam Perfecta
The Candela Vbeam Perfecta is the most effective treatment for smaller veins including facial veins. It’s the gold standard for vascular issues on the face and includes ample benefits:
- The Vbeam pulsed dye laser (PDL) directs a concentrated light beam into a broken vein to shatter it into tiny pieces
- This laser’s light is so precise that it only destroys the unwanted vein without damaging surrounding tissue
- Less bruising and scarring is ensured with Candela Vbeam
- It’s also useful to treat wrinkles, scars, rosacea, warts, sun damage, port wine stains, birthmarks, broken capillaries, and much more!
- You can even use the VBeam to help minimize bruising after injectables, so combine your treatments at your Palo Alto clinic
Treating Larger Leg Veins – Meet Asclera
Asclera for Sclerotherapy is an injection to treat small spider veins as well as larger reticular veins usually found in the legs. It’s the standard treatment at renowned laser clinics because:
- It works by irritating just the targeted blood vessel, so it collapses
- It can also be used to treat some smaller spider veins
- It’s minimally invasive and only requires an injection into the vein
- It can be combined with Vbeam Perfecta at the same session for maximum benefits

FAQs About Treating Veins
Absolutely! You can use the Vbeam to treat a number of concerns that have nothing to do with veins or you can combine other treatments such as laser skin rejuvenation and fillers or injectables. We specialize in customized, combination procedures because that’s how you get optimal results and make the most of your time.
Neither Vbeam nor Asclera are considered painful. Vbeam is most often described as feeling like hot or cold “snaps” on the skin while Asclera simply feels like an injection (like getting a shot). Anesthesia is not necessary for these treatments in the vast majority of cases, but if you are highly sensitive or anxious you can always ask for Pro-Nox to help put you at ease.
It varies a little person to person, but you can typically expect to see full results 4 – 6 weeks after vein treatment. This is because it takes some time for the veins to fully shatter or collapse and for the body to safely remove the targeted area.
