White Paper Delineates Best Complements to HydraFacial Elite

White Paper Delineates Best HydraFacial Complements | Palo Alto Laser

An MD published a white paper that details the best treatments that go with a HydraFacial—before HydraFacial Elite became available. Hydrafacial Elite is the first hydradermabrasion treatment that uses cleansing, extraction, moisturizing, and antioxidant production all at once. It’s called a “multi-modality” option and it’s in high demand at Palo Alto Laser and Skin Care and around the world. It’s designed as a form of “lymphatic therapy” according to the paper’s author, in order to maximize skin health in three simultaneous, easy steps: Cleanse + Peel, Extract + Hydrate, and Fuse + Protect. The first step, cleansing and exfoliating, prepares the skin’s surface for the most in-depth cleansing it has ever experienced. The extraction and hydration portion removes all debris from the pores with a wet, pain-free suction tool and then finishes off with medical-grade hydration products picked just for you. Finally, detoxification takes place so the skin is safeguarded from free-radicals while it enjoys rejuvenation.

The HydraFacial and HydraFacial Elite both feature patented Vortex-Fusion tech, literally creating a vortex effect to quickly and easily remove impurities while drenching the skin in hand-selected products. This means you can get a totally non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment to leave your skin baby soft. Some of the most popular products included with a HydraFacial Elite include peptides, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid (HA). You can use this treatment alone, or as a prep for other treatments—but which ones?

Making the Most of HydraFacial Elite

The author first recommends a laser treatment to be paired with HydraFacial Elite, and you’ll need to work with a pro to determine the best laser technologies for you (we have one of the biggest suites of lasers in the region). Next, energy-based devices such as radiofrequency, Thermage FLX, or Morpheus8 can be fantastic additions to a HydraFacial Elite treatment for skin tightening and reduced elasticity. There’s also micro-needling, which (like HydraFacial Elite) can also be an individual treatment or serve as prep for other procedures. The author also lists cosmetic surgery since, of course, procedures like a facelift do not address the quality of the skin itself such as impurities and poor radiance.

“Cosmetic injections,” such as dermal fillers and Botox, pair well with HydraFacial Elite according to the author (and us!). Non-invasive treatments like dermaplaning and chemical peels can also take the results to the maximum benefit. Depending on the type of treatment you might choose to add on to a HydraFacial Elite treatment, you may be recommended to have a series of treatments spaced apart. Otherwise, for those who love the benefits of HydraFacial Elite just as it is, monthly sessions are the typical schedule for most.

The HydraFacial Elite Difference

So, what’s the difference between HydraFacial and HydraFacial Elite? The Elite status can now treat very delicate facial areas including the lips and right around the eyes. This wasn’t possible with the first generation, but of course these areas are where the eyes are often drawn. Elite comes with hand-tools specifically designed for these regions, and can better prepare your skin for other treatments such as Botox and fillers. If you’re going to get a HydraFacial, you deserve to treat the whole face, and that’s exclusively possible with HydraFacial Elite. Unfortunately, not all providers have HydraFacial Elite, but we do because we are committed to helping you achieve the skin goals that you want and deserve.

HydraFacial Elite requires no downtime and is 100 percent comfortable. Many patients consider the results at their peak right after treatment, so it is completely safe and common to schedule a HydraFacial Elite on the day of a big event. For those who are new to the system, scheduling the day prior can help ease any worries of lingering redness (the skin may be a bit pink immediately after the treatment, but quickly subsides).
